GARDEN DESIGN
01 My Journey
In 2020, I looked out at my own garden and, despite having a solid design background, felt completely overwhelmed by the complexity of garden design.
As an interior architect, I was used to static objects—walls, furniture, fixed materials—but gardening presented a new challenge: a living, evolving space. It was a dynamic puzzle, full of constraints and constant change, and I found myself captivated by it. From that moment, I knew gardening was something I needed to pursue. I began learning about plants in my spare time, watching gardening programmes, and diving deep into research.
What started as a hobby soon became a passion, and by 2025, I left my interior architecture career to retrain as a garden designer. I realised that my skills in surveying, CAD planning, and understanding 3D spaces were invaluable, allowing me to bring a fresh perspective to my garden designs.
03 Philosophy & Values
I consider each garden a space shared with nature, where unpredictability is part of the beauty. I work to ensure that the gardens I design will have longevity, choosing plants that will thrive in changing climates and focusing on sustainable practices like growing from seed or making your own compost.
I want my clients to feel confident and empowered in their outdoor spaces. Gardens are dynamic and evolving, and I believe in creating environments that grow and change with you, making the journey as rewarding as the result.
